What are the requirements for motor insurance to be purchased?
Following coverage is required for motor insurance to be purchased for your vehicle which will be pledged in favor of vdf:
- Full motor insurance
- No deductions
- Volkswagen Doğuş Finans is designated as the loss payee
- Also, receipt form must be obtained when advance payment is made for the motor insurance policy
When the motor insurance policy expires
You have to renew the inflation-indexed motor insurance policy until the end of loan term with the existing coverage, and deliver the new policy to vdf.
The motor insurance has expired and you did not renew it...
Motor insurance must be renewed within 15 days following expiry of the policy, otherwise legal proceedings will be initiated.
If your pledged vehicle is damaged or stolen...
You must inform vdf and the insurance company. Keep in mind that you must make the insurance payments regularly and approval letter by vdf is required for indemnification.
